Delivery draft for review
Downloads and re-downloads should be clear, secure, and traceable.
Customers should know what they receive, where it came from, and how to check it. This launch-day candidate wording is for local review only; no installers, payment provider, licence system, customer portal, or download links are connected in this prototype.
Intended flow
Provider-led digital delivery
When public sales are approved, delivery should be handled through the approved commerce/customer account route. Lemon Squeezy remains the preferred first provider because it can support digital delivery, receipts, licences, customer order access, affiliates, and tax handling when configured.
- Customers should receive a clear purchase receipt, product name, product version, licence or activation information, download instructions, and support route.
- Eligible re-downloads should use the provider or customer account flow, with expiring or signed download links where practical.
- Checksums and version notes should be shown where practical so customers can verify the file they receive.
- Download, licence, and re-download wording must match the final provider and entitlement rules before launch.
Boundaries
No unlimited access promise
Re-download availability may depend on the provider, order record, product version, account access, security checks, and the policy active at the time of purchase. The wording should avoid promising unlimited, permanent, or unsupported access unless the final provider setup can actually honour it.
